Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu Speaks Out Against Paris Attack
Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu reacted to the recent attacks in Paris Saturday evening, sending his condolences to the families of those affected by the tragedies while calling for world leaders to come together against Islamic terror.
“Israel stands shoulder- to-shoulder with France in this common battle against militant Islamic terrorism. I have instructed Israel’s security and intelligence forces to assist their French counterparts and their counterparts from other European countries in any way possible,” Netanyahu said.
Netanyahu called on the “civilized world to unite to defeat the plague of worldwide terrorism.” “Militant Islamic terrorism attacks our society because it wants to destroy our civilization and our values,” Netanyahu said as he drew similarities between victims in Paris and victims in Jerusalem and described them as the “victims of militant Islamic terrorism, not its cause.”
Netanyahu added in the press brief: “I extend our deepest sympathies to those in France and the families of those who were wounded and killed in this tragedy.”
“Israel stands shoulder to shoulder with France in the battle against radical Islam. I call on the world: this is the time to come together against radical Islamic terror,” he said.
