First and foremost I want to offer condolences to family members and friends of this horrific act that took place in Orlando, Florida on June 12, 2016! The ongoing investigation will unveil the complete details of why and how this came to be. This is going to put a “hot button” on so many issues as it unfolds. I have sat here thinking how to express my thoughts and concerns on this matter. Regardless of how I put this it will inevitably offend or anger some people or be considered “politically” incorrect. My intend in not to throw arrows but to present a platform from which I as a Christian and an American will speak my thoughts and concerns about this horrific issue of today.
Second, I have read news articles and listened to obama and other media outlets on their take on this matter just this past hour! The majority of the media and obama have jumped on the band wagon just as I knew they would on certain issues. I present to you viewpoints from a Christian stand point and (I am not speaking for the LGBT community) on this horrific act that occurred.
Christian Point of View:
I as a believer in Jesus Christ do not condone the act that took place today! The taking of lives is wrong no matter how we dice it people. If one of us act in self defense (which most would do if your own life is in danger) it is still murder because we have taken a life. God values life since He is the Creator of Life. We are His creation. To maliciously kill as what happened today in Orlando, Florida is beyond my comprehension. Now I will comment on parts of obama’s remarks.
Constitutional rights: The First Amendment
provides that Congress make no law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting its free exercise. It protects freedom of speech, the press, assembly, and the right to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
So this is a sobering reminder that attacks on any American — regardless of race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation — is an attack on all of us and on the fundamental values of equality and dignity that define us as a country. And no act of hate or terror will ever change who we are or the values that make us Americans.
He reminds us above of race, ethnicity, religion or sexual orientation…fundamental values of equality and dignity that “define” or country…..and “no act of hate or terror will ever change who we are or the “values” that make us Americans.” He does not speak on my behalf! I value and believe in what God’s Word says. Anyone can argue as they please; but, this country was founded on Christian “morals and values” and not that based on “fundamental values.” The two primary targets that are “hot buttons” here are “religion and sexual orientation.” I believe in freedom of religion and this has been a “war” in itself since the beginning of time; but that is an issue in itself. I stand on Christian values and morals. When the life style of another community and their desire to “push” their agenda in my face and think it will be accepted is a “misconception” on behalf of said community. I do not condone to the lifestyle of the LGBT etc… community nor do I hate them; I do not condone the choice of lifestyle. God’s Word does not condone it for it is an abomination in His sight. We as Christians do not have to be disrespectful to the LGBT community but we “are” accountable to God and Him alone to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ that it is a sin. To anyone of the “LGBT” community who reads this it is a lifestyle that you can leave; but only in the repenting of it and turning to Jesus Christ who will set you free. You can be certain of that!
Gun control and use of another horrific act to go down this road again!
Today marks the most deadly shooting in American history. The shooter was apparently armed with a handgun and a powerful assault rifle. This massacre is therefore a further reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub. And we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well.
“..most deadly shooting in American history.”…..How so? I ask this in earnest! What about “all” wars fought on American soil?? If, the can is going to be opened on this “again” then open the flood gate. Yes, I believe in the “right to bare arms” and don’t be shocked at this because I am a Christian. Trust me I have had to struggle to come to my own understanding of this matter! There is a difference in malicious snuffing out peoples lives on purpose as in Orlando, Florida shooting and defending one’s self. The right to bare arms comes the huge responsibility of “knowing” your local and federal gun laws.
The speech writer for obama was very careful to articulate the precise wording they wanted to convey:
Quote: “…reminder of how easy it is for someone to get their hands on a weapon that lets them shoot people in a school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub. And we have to decide if that’s the kind of country we want to be. And to actively do nothing is a decision as well.”..end quote.
Notice the importance of the ordering of the words…”school, or in a house of worship, or a movie theater, or in a nightclub.” It leaves ones to wonder “what” place will this occur next! As if to “instill” fear into the minds of all Americans. Remember people fear grabs you only if you allow it to and the human mind is “battle ground” of all fear and thoughts in general.
So, since obama has opened the floor on this “gun control” matter I will address it here. This administration wants to disarm the American people and that is the crux of it people. Before they start trying this number again they had better address border control (smugglers for the cartel on drugs, human trafficking…) making businesses who sell guns that “complete background” checks are run, and I’m sure there are other areas I just can’t think of. What more can I say on this matter? Our freedom of speech, religion, and right to bare arms are and have been under attack because the government wants to control every aspect of the Americans lives and you know I’m right!

My Conclusion of the matter:
America has witnessed a horrific act upon people and families and friends who are left to deal with their lose. Please pray for them to have strength to carry on and to heal emotionally. My prayer is that if no one knows the Lord they will come to Him for He is our Comforter and Yes He knows everyone’s pain and will answer each person who calls out to Him. Several issues have come out due to this horrific act: religion, guns, LGBT community, freedom of speech, HR 2 bill and others. We will see all the Intel as the investigation continues and information is released. Remember, the main stream media is owned by the progressive left people and you will only be fed what they want you to know or want you to believe. Do yourselves a favor and do your homework and “vet” your sources and come to your own conclusion. God bless!
