Author’s Commentary: John 3:16 says it all for those who earnestly “want” eternal life in Christ Jesus: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
satan comes to kill, steal and to destroy:

(My note: Notice Jesus says “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” satan is the “taker” ; for he desires to take souls away from God!/ JESUS CHRIST IS THE “GIVER OF LIFE ETERNAL”)
Faith without works is dead; in other words we are to put in “action” that which Jesus commands us to do in the Gospel: “The Great Commission”
