Dear Friend,
Last week we had great crowds in Helena, Mont.; Boise, Idaho; and Cheyenne, Wyo.; for Decision America Tour prayer rallies. Thousands of people came out to do one thing—pray. They, too, sense an urgency and know the critical point our nation has reached. We have six more stops at capitols this month, and I hope you will pray and ask others to join us: • Augusta, Maine, August 23 As Election Day approaches, I meet a lot of people who say they don’t like their choices, and some even say they aren’t going to vote. I tell them as Christians we have a responsibility to pray and to vote. This could be the most important election in our nation’s history. Yes, our candidates are flawed; there’s no question. But you have to look at which candidates—local, state, and national—might best protect religious freedoms and represent what you stand for as a Christian. The September issue of Decision magazine, which will be ready in just a few weeks, is our 2016 Presidential Election Guide, and I’d like to send you a free copy. It will help you examine the candidates’ stances on the Supreme Court, religious liberty, and abortion, plus the Democratic and Republican platforms on marriage, national defense, terrorism, poverty, Israel, and more. Request yours today. Thank you for standing with us for the Decision America Tour. I’m grateful for your heart to pray for this country, to vote for Biblical values, and to engage your community with God’s truth. May the Lord richly bless you! Sincerely, Franklin Graham “I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence.” All rights belong to ministry of Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
