Deputy FBI Director McCabe stepping down today: reportAndrew McCabe, the deputy director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, is stepping down effective Monday, NBC News reported. McCabe had been set to retire in March. President Donald Trump has criticized McCabe, whose wife got nearly $500,000 in campaign contributions from allies of Hillary Clinton when she ran for a Virginia state Senate seat. McCabe oversaw the probe into Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state.
